Glossary

Terms as Easy Form Studio uses them, with the Croatian name from the Croatian UI. Where the UI uses a different name from the workshop's, both are given.

Term	Croatian	Meaning
Account	Račun	The panel in the EFS tab with the licence status and buttons for the plan, card, invoices, cancelling and sending the key by email.
Active cabinet	Aktivni element	The cabinet you selected last. With the keys, it sets the next state for all selected cabinets, and when you copy settings, it is the source.
Active camera	Aktivna kamera	The camera the view looks through (Num 0). The Previous Camera and Next Camera buttons change it.
Add to the cabinet	Dodaj uz element	The right-click submenu with the worktop, kickboard, cornice, fillers, end panels, sliding doors and cut-outs.
Adjustable shelves	Pomične police	Shelves on pins, without dowels, set on a 32 mm grid.
Align to active	Poravnaj s aktivnim	The selected cabinets get the height from the floor and the back line of the active cabinet. See Base units and the corner.
Alt-editing	Alt-uređivanje	Changing a field while you hold Alt writes the same value into all selected objects.
API key	API ključ	Your personal licence key from the email you get after purchase. You enter it once on each computer and it unlocks EFS. See Install, licence and account.
AR model (USDZ)	AR model (USDZ)	A 3D file for iPhone and iPad: through the camera, the customer places the furniture in their own room at real size.
Assembly instructions	Montažne upute	A PDF with one page per cabinet, an exploded view and a table of the assembly order.
Asset Browser	Preglednik zbirki	Blender's library browser, from which you drag a decor onto a board. In the Croatian app it is called Preglednik zbirki.
Back	Leđa	The back board of the carcass: Lay-on, Rebated (in a rebate) or Grooved (in a groove).
Bill Of Materials	Specifikacija materijala	m² of board and metres of edge tape by decor and thickness.
Blind corner	Slijepi kut	The Corner left and Corner right templates, which need a 60 mm filler next to them.
Box system	Box sustav	A drawer with metal sides (TANDEMBOX, LEGRABOX, MERIVOBOX). The sides do not go into the cutting list; the bottom and back do, by the manufacturer's formula.
Butt joint	Ravni spoj	The active worktop runs the full length, the other one stops at its front edge. In the UI: Butt.
Cabinet	Element	One piece of furniture made of boards: a base, wall, tall or corner unit. In some places the Croatian UI calls it korpus.
Cabinet elements	Dijelovi elementa	The list of the selected cabinet's boards in the right-hand column. Clicking a board selects only that board.
Cabinet origin	Ishodište elementa	The back left bottom corner of the cabinet. The cabinet grows and turns from this point, and the X, Y, Z position refers to it.
Cabinet QR	QR elementa	The QR code on an assembly instructions page that highlights the whole cabinet in the web preview.
Clearance	Odmak	How much narrower the shelf is than the inner width of the carcass, half on the left and half on the right.
Clothes rail	Šipka za vješanje	Tube across or Pull-out rail. It is not a board, so it goes into the hardware list. See A wardrobe with compartments and a rail.
CNC label	CNC oznaka	The mark CNC 1, 2… on boards that are not plain rectangles.
Compartment	Pretinac	The space between dividers in a cabinet, counted from the left.
Configurator	Odabir dekora	The web preview page where the customer chooses the decor of each material group.
Confirmat	Konfirmat	A screw that joins boards through the face into the edge.
Connector	Spojnica	A confirmat or minifix; the Connectors per joint field. See Joints.
Continuous	Neprekidno	A top or bottom board joined over the side panel. The side panel is then shorter by the board thickness.
Corner post	Kutni spoj	The post of a corner cabinet that the doors close against.
Corner wing	Krak kutnog elementa	One leg of an L-shaped cabinet: the carcass is 562 mm deep, 580 mm with the doors.
Cornice	Vijenac	A decorative board on top of tall and wall units.
Cost estimate	Procjena troška	The panel in the EFS tab with the purchase cost of boards, edge tape, hardware and machining from the price list. See A quote for the customer.
Cross rail	Traverza	A narrow cross board instead of a full top board, most often on base units under the worktop.
Cup distance	K-mjera	The distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the hinge cup.
Customer render	Render za kupca	A photorealistic image of the project (1920 × 1080, JPG) from each camera or an automatic shot. See One-click render.
Cut size	Mjera reza	The size the board is cut to: the finished size minus the thickness of the edge tape.
Cut-out	Izrez	An opening for a sink or hob in the worktop, from the cut-out catalogue.
Cutter	Rezač	A box in the EFS - Board tab that cuts a rectangle out of a corner, a notch in an edge or an opening in the middle of a board.
Cutting diagram	Dijagram rezanja	A PDF page with one sheet, the parts on it with their numbers from the cutting list, the offcuts and the yield.
Cutting list	Krojna lista	The list of all parts with sizes, decor and edge tape. Some exports call it Cutting Sheet.
Cutting Sheet	Lista rezanja	The cutting list's worksheet in Excel, one row per board. See Cutting list and cut size.
Decor	Dekor	The look of a board (colour, wood pattern). It goes into the cutting list, the price and the order. See Decors, edge tape and materials.
Dismantle cabinet	Rastavi element	The cabinet becomes a set of free boards that are no longer linked.
Divider	Pregrada	A vertical board that divides a cabinet into compartments. In the UI: Vertical shelf or Shelf vertical.
Double cross boards	Dvostruke poprečne ploče	Two cross rails instead of a full top or bottom board. See How a cabinet is built.
Dowels	Tipli	Wooden pins for joining boards.
Edge drilling	Čeono bušenje	A hole in the edge of a board, DXF layers EDGE_….
Edge hole	Rupa u kantu	A hole in the edge of a board.
Edge tape	Kant	The edging strip on the visible edges of a board. In the UI also Edging Tape.
EFS tool	EFS alat	The tool with the EF icon in the toolbar on the left. A click selects, a right-click opens the cabinet menu.
EFS tool header	Zaglavlje EFS alata	The row above the 3D view with the Add button, copying, dismantling, deleting, fronts, measures and positioning.
Elevation	Nacrt	A wall seen from the room, with the cabinets, worktop, openings, installations and dimensions.
End panel	Završna ploča	A visible board at the end of a run of cabinets.
Engagement	Uvučenost	For the back: the distance of the back from the back edge of the carcass, in mm. For the top and bottom: lowering or raising the board. How far the back goes into the groove is set by the Depth field.
Exploded view	Rastavljeni prikaz	The parts of a cabinet moved apart from the centre, with numbers in circles.
Face A / face B	Lice A / lice B	Face A is the side of the board that gets most of the holes; the other side gets a mirrored _B file. See Drillings, DXF, MPR and CIX.
Face hole	Rupa u licu	A hole in the face of a board.
Fill the gap	Popuni razmak	A button that adds a filler or a cabinet of the exact gap width between two selected cabinets. See Kickboard, fillers, end panels and cornice.
Filler	Filer	A narrow board that closes the gap between a cabinet and the wall.
Finished size	Gotova mjera	The size of the board with edge tape. The cutting list gives it next to the cut size.
Fit texture	Prilagodi teksturu	Aligns the decor on the board at real size and in the grain direction.
Flap	Klapna	A front hinged at the top or bottom.
Flap lift	Podizni mehanizam klapne	The hardware that holds a flap open; its strength is chosen by the power factor.
Floor plan	Tlocrt	The room from above, with the cabinets, openings, installations and dimensions.
Free board	Slobodna ploča	A board that is not part of any cabinet (key B). The worktop, kickboard, filler and end panel are free boards.
Free trial	Probni period	Free use at the start of a monthly or yearly plan. You enter a card when you order, and the first charge is when the trial ends.
Front	Fronta	A door, flap or drawer front.
Front overhang	Prednji prepust	How far the worktop projects past the face of the fronts, default 20 mm. See The worktop.
Gap	Razmak	The joint between the edge of a front and the edge of the cabinet (default 2 mm). For a lay-on back: how much smaller the back is on each side.
Gola profile	Gola profil	A channel in the carcass for opening fronts without a handle.
Grain	Godovi	The direction of the fibres on the decor. The Grain field sets which side of the part runs along the length of the sheet (Longer or Shorter). See Decors, edge tape and materials.
Grid	Raster	Points every 32 mm from the lowest shelf, on which the adjustable shelves sit.
Groove	Utor	A channel in the side panels that the back goes into. In the UI: Grooved.
Hanging rail	Zidna šina	A rail for the hangers, as long as the cabinet, priced per metre.
Hardware list	Popis okova	Everything that is not a board, per cabinet and in total; in the PDF, the Hardware worksheet in Excel and the order.
Hat shelf	Polica za kape	A high shelf above the rail in the wardrobe templates.
Height ratio	Omjer visine	A drawer's share of the cabinet height, from 1 to 3.
Hinge cup	Čašica	The part of the hinge that goes into the hole in the door.
Hip roof	Kosi krov	A ceiling that rises from walls D and B to the ridge.
Include in scaling	Uključi u skaliranje	Checkboxes with which a cabinet passes its width, depth or height on to the related cabinets.
Inner side gap	Unutarnji bočni razmak	The space for the drawer slide between the side panel and the drawer box (default 10 mm).
Inner width (SV)	Svijetla širina	The distance between the side panels, the basis of box system formulas.
Inset	Uvučeno	A top or bottom board joined between the side panels. For fronts: the front sits inside the carcass.
Installation	Instalacija	A socket, a 400 V connection, water, drain or gas, as a point on the wall.
Installation plan	Montažni plan	Mounting heights, openings, drawn-in installations and the installations the cabinets need.
Internal calculation	Interna kalkulacija	The second PDF of the quote, for the workshop: material, edge tape, hardware, labour, margin and VAT.
Kickboard	Sokl	The board in front of the legs of the base units. In some places the Croatian UI calls it Podnožje.
Kickboard clip	Klips sokla	The clip that fixes the kickboard to the legs.
Label	Naljepnica	70 × 37 mm, 24 on an A4 sheet, with the number from the cutting list, the cut size, edge tape and a QR code. See Labels and assembly instructions.
LED strip	LED traka	A strip under the selected board (Add → Light). On the web, the light bulb button switches it on, and the quote counts its metres.
Lifetime licence	Doživotna licenca	A one-off purchase that does not expire and includes updates. No longer sold; those bought earlier stay valid.
Main cabinet	Glavni korpus	In a template made of several cabinets, the cabinet whose name has no number. The related cabinets move, turn and are deleted with it.
Material assignment	Dodjela materijala	The panel in the EFS tab that gives the same decor to all boards of one material group with one click.
Material group	Grupa materijala	A set of boards that share a decor: Shelf (inside the carcass), F 1 to F 4 (fronts) and None. A decor given to a group in the Material assignment panel goes to all of its boards.
Measures	Kote	Dimensions drawn in the 3D view. Key M.
Minifix	Minifix	A cam joint: the housing in the face of one board pulls tight a bolt screwed into the other board. See Joints.
Minifix bolt	Svornjak	The part of the minifix screwed into the other board, which the housing pulls tight.
Minifix housing	Kućište	The minifix cam in the face of a board.
Mount height	Visina montaže	The height of the bottom of a hanging cabinet from the floor (the Z field).
Mounting plate	Podložna pločica	The part of the hinge that is screwed to the side panel.
My settings	Moje postavke	Your starting values: construction and edge tape for new cabinets, and hardware, quote and export for new projects. See Working faster.
My templates	Moji predlošci	Cabinets you saved yourself, with the worktop, kickboard and fillers. See Templates.
Nesting	Krojenje	The layout of the parts on the stock sheets.
Nominal length (NL)	Nazivna duljina	The length of a drawer slide from the catalogue, which EFS chooses by depth.
Offcuts	Ostaci	Pieces of board left over after nesting that can be used.
Offset	Pomak	The distance between a cabinet and its related neighbour; a negative offset puts the neighbour inside the cabinet.
Opening	Otvor	A window or door drawn on a wall.
Opening for pipes	Otvor za cijevi	A rectangular opening in the back, open at the bottom, around the water, drain and gas marks behind the cabinet. See Bathroom: siphon and pipes.
Origin	Ishodište scene	The point where the red and green axes cross, which is also the back left corner of the room. The first cabinet goes there.
Overflow	Prevjes	How far a board projects past the neighbouring board or the edge of the carcass, in mm.
Overlap	Preklop	How much neighbouring sliding doors overlap, always 30 mm.
Part card	Kartica dijela	A card in the web preview with the part's number, name, cabinet, sizes, material and hardware. The QR code on the label opens it.
Partly used sheet	Načeti arak	A label sheet on which some labels are already used. You set the first free position with the Labels: skip on first sheet field.
Parts menu	Izbornik Dijelovi	The list of parts by cabinet in the web preview; the selected parts light up.
Pocket	Džep	A hollow that does not go through the board (a groove or rebate for the back), layer POCKET_P….
Positioning options	Opcije pozicioniranja	How a new cabinet is placed: Forward alignment next to the selected cabinet, or sliding with the mouse along an axis.
Power factor (PF)	Faktor snage	The front height in mm times the front weight in kg; the flap lift is chosen by it.
Price list	Cjenik	The file user_prices.xlsx with the worksheets Boards, Other, Sheets and Offcuts. See Nesting and board prices.
Production package	Proizvodni paket	All production exports with one click. Key Ctrl+Shift+E.
Project check	Provjera projekta	A check for overlaps, door collisions, holes, prices and drillings before export. The production package runs it by itself. See The production package and the supplier order.
Project hardware	Okovi projekta	Hardware and joints for the whole project: new cabinets and templates get them, existing ones through Apply to all and Apply to selected. See Project hardware.
Pull-out rail	Izvlačna šipka	A rail running from front to back under a shelf, for shallow wardrobes. EFS chooses the length.
Push latch	Push odbojnik	Hardware for opening by touch, without a handle.
Quote number	Broj ponude	A year-number reference (e.g. 2026-014), assigned at the first export; it stays with the project.
Rebate	Falc	A stepped cut in the back edge of the carcass that the back sits in. In the UI: Rebated.
Recess	Urez	Setting a board's edge back from the front or back edge of the carcass. In some places the Croatian UI calls it uvuk.
Relations	Povezani elementi	Neighbours tied to the cabinet on the left, right, above or below. They move with the cabinet and, if you choose, follow its sizes.
Room	Prostorija	The floor and four walls from the Room properties panel. Its back left corner is at the scene origin. See Room, openings and installations.
Room documentation	Dokumentacija prostora	A PDF with the floor plan, an elevation of each wall and the installation plan. See Room documentation for the fitters.
Saw kerf	Rez pile	The width of the saw cut, which nesting leaves between the parts.
Scene elements	Objekti scene	The list of all cabinets and other objects of the project in the right-hand column.
Sheet size	Format ploče	Length × width of the stock sheet, from the Sheets worksheet of the price list.
Shelf support pin	Nosač police	A pin in a System 32 hole that an adjustable shelf rests on; 4 per shelf, they go into the hardware list. See Adjustable shelves, System 32.
Side panel	Bočnica	The left or right board of the carcass. In the UI: Left and Right.
Sidebar	Bočna traka	The area with panels on the right of the 3D view, with the tabs EFS, EFS - Cabinet, EFS - Board and EFS - Templates. Key N.
Sill	Parapet	The height of the bottom edge of a window from the floor.
Siphon cut-out	Izrez za sifon	A U-shaped cut-out in a drawer: the drawer back is cut through its full height, the bottom is notched from the back edge.
Sliding door	Klizno krilo	A free board in front of a wardrobe, added with Add to the cabinet → Sliding doors, in the decor and group of the fronts. See Sliding doors.
Source cabinet	Uzor	The cabinet whose settings Copy to selected cabinets passes on to the other selected cabinets. The source is the active cabinet.
Structure	Struktura dekora	The second part of a decor name (e.g. ST9 in U702 ST9). The code and structure together are the key in the price list.
Subscription	Pretplata	A monthly or yearly plan that renews itself until you cancel it in the Account panel.
Supplier order	Narudžba dobavljaču	Two CSV tables (boards and edge tape, hardware) and the text of an email to the supplier.
System 32	Sustav 32	Rows of 5 mm holes at 32 mm spacing for adjustable shelves.
Tall unit	Visoki element	A cabinet for a fridge, oven or pantry; EFS treats it as a base unit.
Template	Predložak	A ready-made cabinet of one or more related carcasses that you place in the scene with one click. 80 of them come with the program. See Templates and My templates.
Texture pack	Paket tekstura	A folder of decors (materials and their images) that you add once as a library.
Through hole	Prolazna rupa	A hole through the whole board, layer DRILL_D…_THRU.
Top box	Nadogradnja	A separate cabinet on top of a wardrobe, related as Above.
Track	Staza	One of the two planes in which the sliding doors slide, 25 mm apart.
Trim	Obrez	A strip cut off each of the four edges of the sheet before nesting (default 10 mm).
Upper elements height	Visina gornjih elemenata	The height of the bottom of the wall units from the floor, one for the whole project, default 1430 mm. See Wall units, tall units and flaps.
User data folder	Korisnička mapa	A folder outside the program with the price list, My templates and My settings. Updates do not touch it.
Variant	Varijanta	A pair of front and carcass decors for which Decor comparison calculates the price. See Comparing decors.
View rotation	Smjer pogleda	The angle 000°, 090°, 180° or 270° at the right end of the header. It sets how a new cabinet turns and where it goes.
Wall A–D	Zid A–D	A is the back wall, B the right, C the front and D the left wall, seen at 000°. A cabinet belongs to a wall by its Z rotation.
Wall start	Početak zida	The left end of the wall, seen from the room. From wall start is measured from it.
Wall unit	Gornji element	A cabinet at the wall unit height. Its fronts are in the group F 2. Key U.
Wall unit hangers	Vješaci gornjeg elementa	Two per wall unit, on a hanging rail or fixed into the wall.
Wall unit top line	Linija gornjih elemenata	The wall unit height plus the cabinet height (default 2150 mm); tall units also end on it.
Waste %	Otpad %	An allowance on the m² of boards in the order and in per-m² pricing, default 10%.
Web preview	Web pregled	A 3D preview of the published project on projects.easyformstudio.com, in the browser, without the program. See Web preview and QR.
Workshop details	Podaci radionice	Name, tax number (OIB), IBAN, logo, payment terms and quote validity in the add-on preferences. They are printed on every quote.
Worktop connector	Spojnica radne ploče	A bolt that clamps two worktops together from below; EFS drills two Ø 35 mm holes for each one.
Worktop joint	Spoj radnih ploča	The joint of two worktops in a corner, at 45° or butt.
X-ray	Prozirni prikaz	A view through the boards in which dowels and holes show, Alt+Z.
Yield	Iskorištenje	The area of the parts divided by the area of the whole sheet.
