AK02-05 · 4 MIN · M02 HARDWARE · LESSON 5 OF 6
Legs, kickboards and hanging wall units
Chapters
In short
- 01Base units stand on adjustable legs, usually four per cabinet. Setting the leg height levels out an uneven floor.
- 02The kickboard is the board in front of the legs, from the floor to the carcass. It is held on the legs by clips, so it can be taken off.
- 03Wall units hang on adjustable hangers. Once hung, they are adjusted in height and depth.
- 04The hanging rail runs along the whole length of the cabinet. The cabinet hangs on it and is easier to line up with the others.
- 05The rail and the hangers hold only as much as the wall and the wall plug hold. In plasterboard, reinforcement must be planned before the wall is closed.
